American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry

The AAPD is a 6400 strong membership organization representing the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Our members serve as primary care providers for millions of children from infancy through adolescence.

The ABPD certifies pediatric dentists based on standards of excellence that lead to high quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special health care needs.
